There are over twenty thousand different species of bees & wasps in the world. We’ve made this web site to help people identify some of the ones you would find in the Pacific Northwest. Obviously we can’t have them all here, but what we’ve tried to do is break them up into groups/categories.
The language & terms used on this site are not "technical" ones, but rather common ones used by everyday people. We hope you find this site helpful in identifying any problem you may have.
